ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES GOLF OUTING BENEFIT AT CEDARBROOK GOLF COURSE, JUNE 18
- GOLFERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND
PITTSBURGH, PA (June 2, 2011) – The Allegheny County Airport Authority Open is set for Saturday, June 18, at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, PA.
This event benefits the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, one of Pittsburgh's oldest and best known historical landmarks and the Nation's only Military Museum dedicated to honoring the men and women of all branches of service, the citizen as well as the professional soldier. Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, a 501c3 non-profit organization, provides community education about our region’s and our citizen’s history of military contributions. The funds raised from this event will go to support the Museum and the many other important services provided to veterans.
Interested foursomes are invited to join us for golf or be a sponsor. This annual event is a 10 am shotgun scramble with many prizes and skills contests. For golfers, the event includes golfing, a cart, a bucket of practice balls, lunch and dinner. The fee is $420 per foursome. There are also many opportunities for sponsorships as well.
