ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY TO CONDUCT PUBLIC AUCTION SEPTEMBER 14 IN MOON TOWNSHIP
- Auction begins at 10:00AM, Doors open at 9:00AM
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA (September 6, 2013) – The Allegheny County Airport Authority will conduct an auction of abandoned vehicles and other unclaimed items from Pittsburgh International Airport at 10 am, Saturday, September 14, in the Airport Heavy Equipment Building on Cargo Road.
Directions: Follow 376 Northwest to Hangar Road; turn left at the traffic light, at next intersection turn left on to Cargo Road and follow to top of hill. Airport Authority employees will direct attendees to parking location.
The auction, conducted by licensed auctioneer Thomas G. Abbott, will begin at 10:00AM, with doors opening at 9:00AM. There will be a $150.00 Buyers Premium on each vehicle, and vehicles will need to be towed from the auction site unless purchased by a dealer with appropriate plates. Cash only will be accepted from the public. Checks will be accepted from known automotive dealers. Payment, inclusive of any taxes, must be made in full at time of auction.
Other items to be auctioned include Airport Authority vehicles, miscellaneous outdoor equipment, used office furniture, jewelry, electronics, clothing and more.
