PITTSBURGH, PA (May 5, 2009) – The Allegheny County Airport Authority and SuperShuttle International, Inc. today officially launched shared-ride service operations to and from Pittsburgh International Airport. The official opening of SuperShuttle's full-service operation was marked with a ribbon cutting today and expected attendees include Allegheny County and airport officials including Airport Executive Director Brad Penrod and SuperShuttle's Pittsburgh Transportation president Jamie Campolongo.

“Improving airport transportation is an important goal for the community. Any effort we can make to get from point A to point B easier, quicker, and at a great price is something our visitors will value greatly. The Blue Van of SuperShuttle is a highly recognized brand that provides excellent service. It will be a welcomed sight to many visitors to the region,” explained Penrod of the Allegheny County Airport Authority which operates both Pittsburgh International Airport and Allegheny County Airport in West Mifflin, PA.

SuperShuttle will continue to invest in the area and is always looking for good people to join the company. For more information about jobs and driver franchisee opportunities in Pittsburgh, please contact 412-444-4444.
