PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PASSENGER TRAFFIC REPORT FOR FEBRUARY 2014
PITTSBURGH, PA (April 10, 2014) – The number of scheduled departing flights available for booking at Pittsburgh International Airport increased by 1.4 percent in February 2014 compared to February 2013; additionally, the number of scheduled departing seats available for booking in February 2014 increased 2.7 percent according to Diio, an aviation database system.
Scheduled passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport dropped 4.0 percent in February 2014 in comparison to February 2013 according to the Pittsburgh International Airport Monthly Scheduled Airline Traffic Report.
A total of 515,476 scheduled passengers traveled through the airport in February 2014 compared to the 536,705 scheduled passengers that traveled in February 2013. Year-to-date, traffic is down 3.6 percent as 1,053,301 scheduled passengers have passed through the airport in 2014 compared to 1,092,683 scheduled passengers through the first two months of 2013.
