PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PASSENGER TRAFFIC REPORT FOR MARCH 2014
PITTSBURGH, PA (May 9, 2014) – The number of scheduled departing flights available for booking at Pittsburgh International Airport increased by 0.3 percent in March 2014 compared to March 2013; additionally, the number of scheduled departing seats available for booking in March 2014 increased 1.8 percent according to Diio, an aviation database system.
Scheduled passenger traffic at Pittsburgh International Airport dropped 0.5 percent in March 2014 in comparison to March 2013 according to the Pittsburgh International Airport Monthly Scheduled Airline Traffic Report. A total of 674,594 scheduled passengers traveled through the airport in March 2014 compared to the 677,724 scheduled passengers that traveled in March 2013. Year-to-date, traffic is down 2.4 percent as 1,727,895 scheduled passengers have passed through the airport in 2014 compared to 1,770,407 scheduled passengers through the first three months of 2013.
