U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Trusted Traveler Programs at Pittsburgh International Airport:
The joint TSA/CBP application center is located in the Landside Terminal, ticketing level, just across from the American Airlines ticket counter.
BEGINNING MAY 1, 2016: CBP officers will conduct Global Entry applicant interviews Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. through September 2016.
For TSA PreCheck applications, the Trusted Traveler Enrollment Center is open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Before arriving at the interview center, travelers must apply on-line, pay and be pre-approved for the Global Entry program. All applicants undergo a rigorous background check and in-person interview before acceptance. Members of Global Entry automatically become eligible for benefits of TSA Pre✓™, and separate enrollment in that program is not required.

Walk-in appointments for the TSA Pre✓™ application center will be honored on a first come, first served-basis; pre-enrollment at tsa.gov is recommended.
Pre-enrollment for Global Entry is REQUIRED.
Directions: From the airport parking lots, follow the overhead and display signs for DHS Trusted Traveler. The signage will point to a door with a "Department of Homeland Security" seal on it.
Clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection Faster with Global Entry at Pittsburgh International Airport
Pittsburgh International Airport offers the trusted traveler Global Entry program for arriving international flights. This U.S. Customs and Border Protection program allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States through any of the designated airports including Pittsburgh International Airport. By applying and participating in this program, you will have the ability to bypass the traditional passport lines when entering the country.
This program is designed to expedite entry into the United States at participating airports around the country. Upon landing in Pittsburgh, travelers will bypass the passport control line and proceed directly to the automated kiosks. Once the participant has successfully navigated the touch screen kiosk and answered the customs declaration questions, they will be issued a receipt and directed to baggage claim.
Members of Global Entry automatically become eligible for benefits of the TSA Pre✓™. Global Entry participants need not apply separately.

Off to the Gate Faster with TSA Pre✓™
TSA Pre✓™ allows low-risk travelers to experience faster, more efficient screening at airports nationwide, including Pittsburgh International Airport. TSA Pre✓™ is an expedited screening program that allows pre-approved airline travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on in select screening lanes at U.S. domestic airports.
The TSA Pre✓™ application program allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to directly enroll in TSA Pre✓™ without requiring a passport; the TSA Pre✓™ application program requires valid proof of citizenship/immigration eligibility.
