Welcome to Pennsylvania’s premier Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting school

Since 1999, Pittsburgh International Airport ARFF training facility has provided top-of-the-line Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) training to firefighters from the United States and around the world.

Nowhere else can you find more comprehensive firefighter training and emergency services instruction than with the PIT ARFF training facility.

Today, Pittsburgh trains more than 1,000 emergency responders from many states and the island of Puerto Rico each year.

The mission of the Pittsburgh Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting training facility is to provide the highest quality training to airport firefighters. Through advanced training, we will provide firefighting specialists with the knowledge that they need to advance in the field.
